Our family spent a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend in Baltimore, MD celebrating the wedding of two of our favorite U.S. Army Soldiers: Sarah and Ben. Both Vivian and I were members of the wedding party, and I can honestly say that I have no idea how I am going to get this dress and ballet shoes off of my three year old flower girl -- ever. It was a beautiful affair.

Seth Robert Loeffert, the Catholic Faith Welcomes You
On this most glorious day in Western NY, as we welcomed our son, Seth, into the Roman Catholic Faith Family I was reminded of words spoken at our first child's baptism. The priest at that sacrament related the story of a man who kissed the chest of his newly baptized baby every night at the completion of his evening prayers. These pure little babies are the truest tabernacle of the Holy Spirit. They bring the grace of Christ into our homes and our lives.

A Month of Countrytime - not the lemonade
The Loeffert family is relaxing together in the home of Ethan's wonderful Aunt and Uncle, Linda and Mark, in their country home in Western New York this month. One of the most refreshing aspects of this little oasis of beautiful meals, antiques, crafts and prayers is that it is not equipped with internet. Look for the return of my postings in early June.
